York 2014

    Maybe it's because they don't do a maths test at interview, therefore it's their only way of knowing any potential students can work to that level.

    Yeah maybe so, with the amount of applicants every year I suppose they can afford to filter a lot people out x

    I'm sure last year they said they had around 1200 applicants and they don't interview large amounts so it does make sense to look for ways to further filter applicants, even though it may not seem fair :(

    I was meant to be but couldn't get the day off work (despite pleading). I did go to one of the earlier ones but really wanted to go to today's too.

    No but they do have a comprehensive English test.
