    Just a quick question!

Does anyone know when autumn term normally starts for universities? Can't remember when I did my first degree, and it may have changed since then!!

Just in case (everything crossed!) i got in for 2009.... my
best friend's 30th birthday is beginning of september and she wants to go away with our group of friends, do you think this would be ok?

I looked on bedford uni website and it says terms starts 5th Oct! Is that right, sounds v late!

Tricky as this varies between uni's. Most start the middle of September the earliest, so you should be ok!!

Does 5th Oct sound really late to you guys too then? Do student midwives start earlier than other courses at the same uni?

I think us midwife types to all too often start earlier.... Mainly as we don't have breaks like the rest of those part-timers!!

Very early sept should be fairly safe though - I'd phone and ask if I was worried...
