Did I imagine it, or have these recently changed and been lowered from the original 96 hours that were set out by NICE?

I've tried searching NICE but none of my searches bring up the right framework.

ANyone help me as to where I can find this please?

    TIA

I'm not sure if it was NICE or the green top guidelines by RCOG

Thank Iolaus, have just checked the Green-top guidlines and their report is 2006. It was definitely something really recently. Thought it was NICE, but their most recent seems to be 2008, so I'm wondering if it was a newspaper article that I read and the guidelines haven't been updated yet.

    I will continue to look.

What are the official guidelines on PROM at term and the commencement of labour before intervention is introduced at your hospital? I thought it was 96 hours according to NICE, but like I say, think this is different. Maybe I have my wires totally crossed?

IOL after 24-36 hours if any examinations have taken place (digital or speculum) unless the woman requests expectant management which can wait up to 96hours - but still recommend antibiotics after 24
