Expectancy Presents: Moxibustion For Breech Presentation Study Day

This study day is RCM accredited. Learn how to incorporate moxibustion into your midwifery practice to reduce ECVs and Caesareans.

    More Information

Moxibustion is an increasingly popular Chinese medicine technique in which sticks of dried herbs (moxa) are used as a heat source at an acupuncture point on the feet to turn a breech-presentation to head-first.

This RCM-accredited study day explores how moxibustion works, the contraindications, precautions and possible complications and how you can implement moxibustion in your practice. Also provides an overview of other therapies which may be effective for turning a breech presentation.

The study day can also be delivered in-house (on your own site) for maternity units wanting to set up a moxibustion service.

This study day is normally £175, but our members can book their place for just £99 by quoting SMNET when booking!
